Copyright Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This Copyright Policy explains who owns the content across the DigixData website and business, how you may and may not use it, and how to report suspected copyright infringement. It applies to everything we publish and offer, including our keynotes and speaking materials, workshops, consulting deliverables, courses, our book, and our browser extensions.
1. Ownership of Content
Unless otherwise noted, all content on https://digixdata.com and in the products and services offered by DigixData is owned by DigixData or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. This includes, without limitation, the text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, logos, page layouts, user interface designs, audio and video, code, and the overall look and feel of the site.
Our copyright protection also extends to the substantive materials that make up our business: our book, 'The Agentic Operator Playbook'; our keynote and speaking materials, such as 'RISE of the Agents'; our workshop content; our consulting frameworks and deliverables; our self-paced course materials; and the software, documentation, and assets that make up our browser extensions.
The methods, frameworks, models, and other structured materials we author and publish are likewise our intellectual property, subject to the rights of any third parties whose work we license. Copyright in third-party materials that appear on our site or in our products remains with their respective owners, and we use such materials under license or as otherwise permitted by law.
Our authorship credit for certain works is 'RS Mills,' but the copyright in those works is held by DigixData unless a specific work states otherwise.
- © DigixData. All rights reserved.
- Covers website content, the book, course and workshop materials, speaking materials, consulting deliverables, extensions, and method/framework materials.
- Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners and is used under license or as permitted by law.
2. Permitted Use
We want our work to be useful to you. You may view, access, and display our website content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may download or print a reasonable number of copies of pages solely for that personal, non-commercial reference.
You may also quote brief, limited excerpts of our published content for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research, provided that you attribute the excerpt to DigixData and, where the excerpt appears online, include a link back to the original page. Any such use should be reasonable in length relative to the whole work and should not substitute for the original or misrepresent its meaning.
Use of any product you have separately purchased or licensed from us — such as the book, a course, or an extension — is governed by the specific terms, license, or store listing that applies to that product. Those terms control where they differ from the general permissions described here.
- View and access site content for personal, non-commercial use.
- Quote brief excerpts with clear attribution to DigixData and, online, a link to the source.
- Product-specific licenses (book, courses, extensions) govern use of those products.
3. Prohibited Use
Except as expressly permitted above or with our prior written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, publicly display, or otherwise exploit our content. You also may not create derivative works from our content, or remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, index, or otherwise systematically collect content from our website, whether by automated means or otherwise, except to the extent expressly authorized by us in writing or permitted by a published mechanism such as our robots file. You may not use our content to train, fine-tune, or develop machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models without our prior written permission.
Any commercial use of our content, and any use that competes with our products or services or that could confuse others about our sponsorship or endorsement, requires a separate written license from us. If you are unsure whether a use is permitted, please ask us before proceeding.
- No copying, republishing, redistribution, or public display beyond the permitted uses above.
- No derivative works and no removal or alteration of proprietary notices.
- No scraping, crawling, or bulk harvesting, and no use of our content to train AI or machine-learning models, without prior written permission.
- No commercial use without a separate written license.
4. Reporting Copyright Infringement (Notice and Takedown)
DigixData respects the intellectual property of others and expects our users to do the same. If you believe that content on our website infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send us a written notice, consistent with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and we will review it and respond as appropriate, including by removing or disabling access to material we determine to be infringing.
Please send your notice to our copyright contact at contact@digixdata.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice", or by mail to DigixData, Frisco, Texas 75035, USA. Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA you may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material is infringing.
To be effective, your notice should include the following information so that we can act on it promptly:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are involved).
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail — such as the URL — for us to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a written counter-notification to contact@digixdata.com. Your counter-notification should include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and telephone number, together with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or that person's agent.
The DMCA provides a specific process and timeline for handling counter-notifications, and we may restore removed material in accordance with that process unless we receive notice that the complaining party has filed a legal action. We may forward a counter-notification, including your contact information, to the party who submitted the original notice.
6. Licensing and Permission Requests
If you would like to use our content in a way that goes beyond the permitted uses described above — for example, to republish an article, reproduce a chapter of our book, use our frameworks in your own materials, or license content for commercial use — we are happy to hear from you. Many requests can be accommodated with a simple written permission or license.
To request a license or permission, email us at contact@digixdata.com with a description of the content you want to use, how and where you intend to use it, and the audience and duration involved. Please wait for our written approval before using the content; permission is granted only when we confirm it in writing, and any permission we grant is limited to the specific use we approve.
7. Relationship to Trademarks
This policy addresses copyright, which protects creative works such as text, graphics, and other content. It does not govern the use of our names, logos, and brands, which are protected as trademarks. Our marks include 'DigixData' and the names of certain offerings, such as 'RISE of the Agents' and 'The Agentic Operator Playbook,' and are used under common-law rights unless we state that a specific mark is registered.
For guidance on the permitted and prohibited use of our names, logos, and brand assets, please see our Trademark page. Where the two policies overlap — for example, when a single use involves both our copyrighted content and our trademarks — each policy applies to its respective subject matter.
8. Governing Law
This Copyright Policy and any dispute arising out of or relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that federal copyright law and the DMCA govern matters within their scope. You agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute relating to this policy will be the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date above, and the updated version will apply to use of our content going forward.
