Included features

Practical features for routine work.

Record donated items

Save a numbered entry with the received date, donor, item descriptions and organization details. No donated-item value is assigned.

Prepare a reviewed letter

Use wording your organization has reviewed, then print the protected letter or save it as PDF through your browser. Printing does not send or deliver it.

Keep a clear ledger

Export CSV with spreadsheet formula protection. Saved entries retain their original details; void a mistake with a reason and create its replacement.

Control local donor data

Administrator-only screens and downloads, donor-email privacy export/erasure, and an explicit uninstall deletion setting. No external service or automatic email.

Protected printable acknowledgment with synthetic Community Pantry Example and Jordan Example donor details, donated coats and blankets, and reviewed wording.
A real printable letter from the disposable WordPress acceptance test. Organization and donor details are synthetic.

Free and premium

All these features are included in Free.

Local gift entries, printable letters, CSV export, void records and donor-email privacy tools are included in the Free release. No premium enhancement is currently available.

Getting started

Get started in WordPress

  1. Install and activate the plugin, then open Tools → In-Kind Ledger.
  2. Enter the organization, donor, date received and donated-item descriptions. Supply and review your own acknowledgment wording.
  3. Save the entry, open its protected letter and use your browser’s Print / Save as PDF, or download the ledger CSV.

Scope, data and support

A standalone manual workflow

The ledger workflow supports single-site WordPress. On multisite it stays paused with a notice and creates no ledger table or workflow routes. No payment processing, GiveWP/Charitable/WooCommerce integration, public intake form, uploads, automatic email, scheduled job or server PDF service. This release does not provide tax advice, verify deductibility or guarantee legally sufficient acknowledgments.

Stable entries and honest limits

Saved entries cannot be edited. Voiding retains the original details and a reason; it is not erasure or a tamper-proof audit. The release was tested with 1,000 synthetic entries on disposable reference hosts. Other hosts and larger workloads need their own verification. CSV observes an interval and concurrent voids or privacy erasure can affect it.

Retention and removal

Organization/donor details, wording, creation times and void events remain in the site database. WordPress privacy tools match the donor email provided; contact the site operator about entries without an email. Deactivation and default uninstall retain records; administrators can opt into deleting plugin data on uninstall. Exported/printed copies and backups may remain.

Requirements

WordPress 6.9 or later · PHP 8.2 or later.

Privacy and license

The plugin sends no email or external requests and has no telemetry, payment provider or premium edition. Read the Product privacy disclosure for access, retention and removal details. DigixData In-Kind Ledger is licensed under GPLv2 or later; the license included with the plugin governs its use, modification and redistribution.

Support

For installation notes, FAQs and support, visit the WordPress.org listing or contact DigixData. Share versions and synthetic reproduction steps; keep donor details, private URLs and credentials out of public requests.
